Ernest Prakasa first gained recognition when he placed third in the Stand-Up Comedy Indonesia (SUCI) in 2011. He then transitioned to the film industry. Initially starting as an actor, he is now better known as a writer and director. He has produced seven films to date: “Ngenest” (2015), “Cek Toko Sebelah” (2016), “Susah Sinyal” (2017), “Milly & Mamet: Ini Bukan Cinta dan Rangga” (2018), “Imperfect: Karir, Cinta dan Timbangan” (2019), “Teka Teki Tika” (2021), and his seventh film, “Cek Toko Sebelah 2,” which was released in December 2022.

After working with Starvision for eight years, Ernest established his own production house, Imajinari, in 2022. To date, Imajinari has produced “Ngeri-Ngeri Sedap,” “Jatuh Cinta Seperti Di Film-Film,” “Agak Laen,” “Harta Tahta Raisa” (Documentary), and the upcoming film “Kaka Boss,” which will be in theaters starting 29 August 2024.
